With the outdoor laboratory FLEX we want to offer an approach to natural science (especially to chemistry) by the practical and sensual experience of genuine phenomena.
In the FLEX laboratory students don’t learn about but in nature.
By this the perspective of bare knowledge tranfer of natural science through learning about theory and isolated phenomena in the laboratory is changed to the experience and recognition of natural science in nature itself.
Here you have the possibility to perceive the real proximity of different phenomena and to have a look from interdisciplinary (chemical, physical, geological) perspectives.
Referring to the school subject chemistry different substances, substance and energy conversions are examined. This can be the base for the introduction of sustainable actions in all natural science disciplines.
